Credit Karma is a totally free website that  allows you to check your Trans Union and Experian credit scores for free. You must become a member in order to view your credit report and free credit scores. There is no purchase or credit card needed to join.

Checking Your Credit Does Not Affect Your Score

When you check your credit score yourself you are not harming your score. The only time your score can be affected by checking your credit is when you authorize a lender or bank to perform a hard inquiry. Multiple hard inquiries can lower your FICO score.
